The most useful AI workflows don’t live in demos. They live inside sales pipelines, support queues, finance reviews and operations reports — quietly saving teams hours every week.
Since the launch of Dify Creator Center and Template Marketplace, creators can turn those workflows into templates that anyone can open in Dify with one click. Now we want to see the business solutions you’ve built.
Today we’re launching the Dify Business Template Spotlight, a recurring program for creators who build business solutions. This event runs from October 30, 2026 to January 31, 2027. Publish an original template that solves a real business problem to Dify Creator Center, and every month we’ll feature the hottest entries on the Hottest Templates banner of Dify Marketplace. Every featured template earns a 1-month Dify Professional plan, granted at the end of the event.
What to build
Any template that solves a concrete business task for a specific role or team. Some starting points:
| Function | Ideas |
| Sales & CRM | Lead qualification, account research, proposal and quote drafting |
| Marketing | Campaign briefs, SEO content operations, competitor monitoring |
| Customer service | Ticket triage, multilingual support assistant, FAQ deflection with escalation |
| HR & recruiting | Resume screening against a job spec, onboarding Q&A, policy assistant |
| Finance & procurement | Invoice and contract extraction, expense audit, vendor comparison |
| Legal & compliance | Clause review, regulation lookup, audit evidence collection |
| Operations & supply chain | Order exception handling, inventory and logistics reports |
| Industry solutions | Manufacturing, banking, logistics, pharma, education, public sector |
The best entries usually start from a problem you’ve seen first-hand. Generic chatbots, toy demos and entertainment apps are out of scope for this program.
How to enter
- Build and test your app in Dify Studio. Run it at least once on the latest Dify Community Edition — Marketplace reviews templates for compatibility against it.
- Use Marketplace plugins only. Every plugin in your app must be installed directly from Dify Marketplace.
- Publish to Creator Center. In your app, click Publish → Publish Update → Publish to Marketplace. Or export the app as a DSL file (
.yaml/.yml, up to 10 MB) and upload it in Creator Center. - Write a great listing following the publishing guidelines: a clear name, a custom icon, 1–3 categories, a 2–4 sentence overview, and 3–8 numbered setup steps.
- Tag your entry. Start your overview with [Dify Business Spotlight].
- Submit the entry form [link] with your template link and a short description of the business case it solves.
You can enter any time during the event. To be considered in a given month, your template must pass Marketplace review and be Published by the 20th — November 20, December 20 or January 20. Miss a cut-off and your entry simply joins the next round.
Rules, monthly picks and prizes
Who can join
- Anyone with a Dify account, as an individual or an organization creator account.
- Up to 3 different templates per creator per event.
- Templates in any language are welcome — one language per template.
Keep it original
Your template must be your own work. Copies or light edits of other creators’ templates, Dify sample apps, or DSL files found online — including renamed versions or ones with only the model or prompts swapped — will be disqualified and may be removed from the Marketplace. Using public plugins and common patterns like RAG is, of course, fine. Templates published before October 30, 2026 qualify only if resubmitted as a new, substantially improved version.
Updating your template
You can keep improving your entry during the event, but every change goes through Marketplace review again before it counts:
- Changing the app (prompts, nodes, tools, model settings): submit it as a new template, keep the [Dify Business Spotlight] prefix, update your entry form with the new link, and unpublish the old version.
- Changing only the listing (overview, setup steps, icon, categories): unpublish the template, edit it, and resubmit it for review.
While your update is in review, your last Published version keeps competing. If your template is on the banner, the banner only links to a reviewed version.
How templates are picked each month
Every month, we look at all qualifying entries in two steps:
- Quality check: the template is Published, tagged, original, fits the business theme, follows the listing guidelines, and runs from its setup steps.
- Hotness ranking: among templates that pass, we rank by real Marketplace activity during that round: how many people use the template, how many like it, and how they rate it.
The top-ranked templates go on the Hottest Templates banner of Dify Marketplace for the following month. Each round only counts that round’s activity, so new entries have the same shot as early ones. Your own usage, test accounts and artificial traffic don’t count — and gaming the ranking leads to disqualification.
| Round | Published by | Featured on the banner |
| 1 | Nov 20, 2026 | Dec 3 – 31, 2026 |
| 2 | Dec 20, 2026 | Jan 6 – 31, 2027 |
| 3 | Jan 20, 2027 | Feb 3 – 28, 2027 |
Entries roll over: a template that isn’t picked in one round stays in the running for the next.
Prize
- Every template featured on the Hottest Templates banner during the event earns a 1-month Dify Professional plan.
- It’s one month per template, and language versions count as one template: if your English and Japanese versions are both featured, that’s still one month.
- Different templates count separately, so a creator with two featured templates earns two months.
- All prizes are granted together after the event ends: results on February 3, 2027 and Pro plans applied by February 15, 2027. If you’re already on a paid plan, we’ll add the months to it.
Tips for a template that gets featured
- Name it like a search query. Use [channel / target] + [core task], e.g. “Slack Sales Lead Qualifier” or “Invoice Data Extractor for Finance Teams”.
- Lead with the outcome. Your first overview sentence says what it does; the next one or two say who it’s for and when.
- Make setup painless. A new user should be running it in minutes by following your numbered steps: import, add keys, connect data, customize, test.
- Design for real inputs. Handle messy documents, missing fields and off-topic questions gracefully.
- Keep the graph readable. Remove unused nodes and give nodes clear names — users preview your workflow before they adopt it.
- Never ship secrets. Remove API keys and any real customer or personal data before exporting.
FAQ
I missed the 20th. Am I out? No. Once your template is Published, it joins the next round automatically. The last cut-off of event is January 20, 2027.
My template was featured in two rounds. Do I get two months? No, it’s one month per template per event. Featuring it again just means more people use it.
I published English and Japanese versions, and both were featured. That still counts as one template, so it earns one month.
When will I receive my Pro plan? All prizes are applied together after the event, by February 15, 2027, to the workspace linked to your Dify account email. We’ll email featured creators each month so you know you’ve earned it.
Can my team enter together? Yes. Publish from an organization creator account.
I use self-hosted Dify. Can I join? Yes. Build anywhere; just make sure it runs on the latest Community Edition. The prize is applied to a Dify Cloud workspace.
My template was rejected in review. What now? Withdraw it to Draft, apply the reviewer’s notes and resubmit. It joins the first round whose cut-off it makes.
