How much does Dify cost, and is there an education offer?
Eligible users who complete Education Verified can use the Yearly Professional plan at no cost. The education offer applies only to the Yearly Professional plan.

Who is eligible for Dify for Education?
To apply, you must meet all of the following requirements:
1. You are at least 18 years old.
2. You are currently enrolled at an educational institution, or currently employed there as a teacher or school administrator.
3. Your Dify account is linked to a valid school-issued email address provided to current students or staff.
Personal email addresses, alumni-only email addresses, and addresses that only demonstrate past enrollment or employment are not eligible for a new Education Verified application. Dify may request proof of current enrollment or employment.

If I don’t have a school email, can I use other documents for verification?
We understand that not everyone has a school email address, but our verification process is primarily through school email addresses at the moment.
However, if your school email isn’t working, please reach out to our support team at support@dify.ai for further assistance.
What is included with the education offer?
Education workspaces include all Professional plan features and resource entitlements, except for message credits. The message credit allowance is the same as the Sandbox plan: 200 credits in total, with no monthly reset.
Once the included credits are used up, you can continue using models by configuring your own model provider API key.
What happens when I graduate or leave my educational institution?
If you were verified while eligible, you may keep your existing Education Verified status after graduation or leaving the institution as long as the original verified email address remains active, unchanged, and linked to the same Dify account.
This continuation applies only to users who were already verified. An alumni-only email address cannot be used for a new application, reapplication, or to replace the originally verified email address.
What happens to my education benefits if I change my Dify account email address?
Education Verified status and related education benefits are tied to the verified individual and the email address used for verification, and they are non-transferable.
If you change the email address on your Dify account after verification, Dify reserves the right to revoke your Education Verified status and related education benefits. The new email address does not automatically inherit the previous status.
If the new email address meets the eligibility requirements, you may apply for verification again or contact Dify Support.

Is Dify compliant with COPPA, FERPA, or GDPR?
Yes, Dify Education is designed to be compliant with COPPA, FERPA, and GDPR to protect student and educator data privacy.
What student data does your app collect?
At Dify, our mission is to make design accessible to everyone. We are committed to achieving this goal in a way that safeguards and protects user privacy. Dify requires minimal, non-sensitive personal data to use the Dify platform. The only personal data required is an email address, which we use to enable account login for our users, and a username. Dify also offers multi-factor authentication, one of which, if selected, requires users to authorize login with their Google account. No sensitive personal information is allowed on the Dify platform. Dify is hosted on servers in the US.
