Recommended validation for production apps

If you run production or business-critical apps on Dify Cloud, we recommend validating your key app scenarios before the Cloud upgrade lands. This step is optional, and it can help your team upgrade with more confidence.

You can validate your app against the matching Community Edition version before the Dify Cloud rollout:

  1. Export your app DSL.

In Studio, open the three-dot menu on the app card and choose Export DSL. You can also export it from inside the app through the app info card.

  1. Run the matching Community Edition version.

Set up a local instance using the same Community Edition version this Cloud release is based on. [Self-hosting guide]

  1. Import and test your app.

Import the DSL into Community Edition, then run your usual workflows and key scenarios to confirm everything behaves as expected.

  1. Need help or notice anything unexpected?

  1. Email us at support@dify.ai We’ll review it with you before the Dify Cloud rollout.

Thanks for building with Dify. 💙
