Dify's Open Source Growth

Two years ago, on May 15, 2023, we open-sourced Dify with a simple goal: to explore how developers could more easily build applications powered by large language models (LLMs). From the beginning, we focused on making advanced AI technology more accessible and practical for real-world use. Thanks to the collaboration, feedback, and contributions from our vibrant open-source community, Dify has continued to grow and evolve along this mission.

Today, we're thrilled to announce that Dify has surpassed 100,000 stars on GitHub, placing us among the top 100 open source projects globally. This milestone isn't just a number; it's a testament to the collective effort, innovation, and dedication of developers worldwide who have contributed to Dify's growth.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Core Contributors

We would like to give special thanks to the following outstanding contributors who have driven Dify forward with their pull-request work over the past two years:

  • @svcvit enriched the plugin ecosystem and enhanced front-end experience. Thank you for making Dify more capable and extensible!

To all the contributors mentioned above, please keep an eye on your inbox. We’ll be reaching out by email shortly with a small token of our appreciation.

Conclusion

It’s impossible to name every moment of impact, but we see it all. Every line of code, every issue opened, every thoughtful comment and plugin contributed — each one has opened a door, removed a blocker, or sparked a new idea. Together, they move us closer to answering a bigger question: what if?

To everyone who has been part of Dify’s journey, thank you for helping us explore what’s possible and for building the future of AI-native development together.
